Staff at the new IKEA store in Coventry have been getting coaching in more ways than one!The Swedish furniture giant is unveiling its first city centre store in Coventry in December and staff have been undergoing training at its outlets in Nottingham and Wednesbury. And city travel firm Harry Shaw City Cruiser has been transporting four coach-loads off IKEA staff to those stores for several weeks in the run-up to the opening. |

A Coventry travel firm is staying orange at the same time as going greenHarry Shaw City Cruiser, the Binley-based coach operator, has just undertaken a major investment in a new vehicle to add to its fleet. The new coach is one of the most environmentally friendly on the market as it features a Scania Euro 4 engine. Every other Harry Shaw coach, which are famous across the city for their orange livery, is fitted with a Euro 3 engine which up to now has been one of the most ‘green’. |
